The former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, told the UK’s Sky News television that his weight has decreased almost twice, and in case of further weight loss, doctors predict multiple organ failure.

He was not allowed to go to the hospital, but managed to convey the questions and get the answers through his lawyer, Sky News noted.

Saakashvili wrote that in the beginning he was 120 kilograms, but now he is just 64 kilograms, and if his weight is below 60 kilograms, doctors predict multiple organ failure.

The former Georgian president added that he is in bed all the time, his bones are decaying, and this causes excruciating pain.

Saakashvili's lawyer, Shalva Khachapuridze, noted that the politician's condition is getting worse day by day. According to him, Saakashvili is like a prisoner of the concentration camp of Nazi Germany.

Earlier, independent doctors noted that Saakashvili was poisoned by heavy metals. A Tbilisi city court examined the case of possible postponement of Saakashvili's imprisonment for the purpose of his treatment in a foreign clinic, but the court denied the respective motion of the lawyers.
