Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Mariano, within the framework of the 2024 International Conference on Nuclear Security (ICONS2024) being held in Vienna.

“Productive meeting with MFA of Armenia’s Ararat Mirzoyan at ICONS2024. IAEA supports Armenia’s nuclear program, incl[uding] on enhancing nuclear safety and security. We also exchanged on nonproliferation issues and our collaboration through Rays Of Hope to improve cancer care in Armenia,” Grossi wrote on X—formerly Twitter.
