Georgia unconditionally supports the territorial integrity of Armenia. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced this in a joint briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which took place on Monday in Yerevan.

The Georgian PM expressed the readiness of Tbilisi to assist in the establishment of peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

Kobakhidze thanked for the warm reception, and emphasized the age-old brotherly relations between the Armenian and Georgian peoples. Thanking Yerevan for supporting Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, Kobakhidze expressed Tbilisi's unconditional support for Armenia's territorial integrity.

According to him, the relations between the two countries are developing dynamically. During today's meeting, the parties talked about cooperation in various domains and formats such as transportation, economy, and tourism. The parties talked also about regional developments, and stressed the importance of joint efforts in facing the challenges.

Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgia supports peace and stability in the South Caucasus, and hopes that a peace treaty will be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan. For its part, Georgia is ready to assist this process and the establishment of peace and stability in the region.

At the end, he invited Nikol Pashinyan to visit Georgia.
