Russian State Duma deputies have approved candidates for ministerial posts in the new government, RIA Novosti reports.
The names of all ministers were announced:
Roman Starovoit - Minister of Transport;
Anton Alikhanov - Minister of Industry and Trade;
Sergey Tsivilev - Minister of Energy;
Oksana Lut - Minister of Agriculture;
Mikhail Degtyarev - Minister of Sport.
Retained their positions:
Anton Kotyakov - Minister of Labour and Social Protection;
Alexander Kozlov - Minister of Natural Resources and Environment;
Sergey Kravtsov - Minister of Education;
Olga Lyubimova - Minister of Culture;
Maxim Reshetnikov - Minister of Economic Development;
Anton Siluanov - Minister of Finance;
Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health;
Irek Faizullin - Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities;
Valery Falkov - Minister of Education and Science;
Alexei Chekunkov - Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic;
Maksut Shadaev - Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
On Sunday, 12 May, the candidates met with members of the relevant committees.
