Iran has launched dozens of drones towards Israel, Israeli media reported. The drones are estimated to take several hours to cover such a distance.

The Israel Defence Forces have not yet made any statement on the attack.

Earlier, Iran promised to respond to an Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus that killed seven members of Iran's IRGC.
