The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Gnel Sanosyan, speaking with reporters after the government’s Cabinet session Thursday, reflected on the border delimitation process being carried out with Azerbaijan, in Tavush Province.

The minister recalled that as a result of this process, the two countries will have their legal boundaries.

"We are putting a [border] post so that neither side has a reason to attack each other. When there is a problem at the borders, there is no clarity, they sometimes cause border disputes. Now there is a clear boundary line, and they can prevent such phenomena," he said.

When a reporter asked Sanosyan if the border was clear in Jermuk city because the Azerbaijani side had attacked in that area and penetrated deep into the territory of Armenia, the minister started asking the reporter questions.

"What is your proposal? No one is handing over land, we are drawing a border. Do you propose to go to war rather than the country be in peace? No one is changing the territory of Armenia," said the minister, addressing the aforesaid reporter.
