Audi has introduced the five-seater electric Q6 e-tron crossover.

The Q6 e-tron is similar to the Audi Q5 e-tron, but it is more expensive and heavier, and all its electronics are crypto-key protected against unauthorized replacement, Drom.ru reported.

The Audi Q6 e-tron comes with all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.

The all-wheel drive will have 382 horsepower and 483 horsepower in the SQ6 e-tron version. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds in the first case, and 4.2 seconds in the second case.

For the United States, the base all-wheel drive will have 422 horsepower, an increase of 40 horsepower; more powerful than for the rest of the world.

Rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron will not be calculated for speed, but for range. But it will be released later.

The manufacturer promises that the all-wheel drive Audi Q6 e-tron will have a range of more than 600 kilometers. The Audi Q6 e-tron will go on sale in the third quarter.

In Germany, its starting price will be the same as that of the latest Lexus RX450h+.
